"This hotel has ruined me for all other hotels! This boutique hotel was a peak experience for our stay in Mexico City. It is located on a lovely, quiet street, only about a 10 minute walk to the historic city center sights of the Cathedral, the Zocalo, and Templo Mayor. The surrounding streets are pulsing with foot traffic and small shops. It is not tourist territory and it feels very safe, even as night falls. The hotel itself is gorgeous architecturally."

When is the best time to go to Historic Center?

During these months, you'll find less rain and comfortable temperatures, typically ranging from 20-25°C (68-77°F) during the day. This makes it ideal for walking around the many historical sites, open-air markets, and plazas. The clear skies are great for photography and enjoying the city's architecture.

For those who prefer slightly cooler weather and want to avoid the peak crowds, late November and early December offer a lovely balance. The festive season also brings unique decorations and events, especially in the Zócalo, the main square, which can be a memorable experience for couples.

If you're a traveller looking for a quieter experience, late January and February are excellent. The holiday rush has subsided, but the weather remains agreeable, allowing for a more relaxed pace when visiting attractions like the Palacio de Bellas Artes or the Templo Mayor.

While the rainy season from May to October can bring afternoon showers, these are often brief, and the city's lushness is at its peak.
